Digital Anchor Client/Server


The Digital Anchor Client/Server software architecture is a powerful methodology that allows communication and synchronization between mobile and disconnected computing devices. The service-oriented architecture provides a reliable and solid communication line to its application-based clients. The server service also offers many different functions, such as storing and retrieving data, processing SQL queries, and transferring XML and other types of data back and forth. In addition, the architecture gives connectivity to a variety of data sources, including flat files and non-relational database management systems (DBMS).

In order to provide synchronization between the client database and the server database, standard query language (SQL) statements are used to communicate between the client/server. This data access and synchronization service provides ultimate performance and reliability for users.

To ensure data security and integrity, both the client and the server are secured prior to establishing the communication link. The system has the ability to scale to countless devices or clients and still maintain high performance and privacy.
